WORMS! Katse seizes control of the narrative in GATCHAMAN: GALACTOR!

Prepare to witness the rise of a new era, the nefarious villain Katse seizes control of the narrative in GATCHAMAN: GALACTOR, a groundbreaking four-issue miniseries by Eisner Award-winning writer Steve Orlando (Outlaw Territory, Rainbow Bridge) and beloved Costarican artist, Kath Lobo (Good Game, Well Played), coming soon from Mad Cave Studios!

Katse, the cunning antagonist of Galactor, has stepped out of the shadows to commandeer the spotlight. “Listen, you insignificant worms! The time has come to bow before the might of Galactor! Pledge your allegiance to the true ruler!”

To which series writer, Steve Orlando, responded, “Katse’s demand for allegiance is a testament to his insidious ambitions. With Gatchaman: Galactor, we explore the depths of villainy and the consequences of blind obedience.”

This unprecedented integration of character and promotion marks a new chapter in storytelling, as Katse embodies the essence of villainy, driving the narrative forward with his unyielding quest for power. Inspired by Katse’s ruthless demeanor, writer Steve Orlando has crafted a tale of intrigue and domination, delving into the heart of darkness where loyalty is tested and alliances are forged in the crucible of chaos.

Galactor is under siege by a threat from within! After a secret attempt on his life, Berg Katse sets about to uncover a conspiracy within Galactor, born of their earliest days. Galactor’s second-in-command goes undercover to hunt, identify, and ruthlessly dispense a revolution growing within Galactor’s ranks. Issue one of a miniseries that directly ties into the first volume of Gatchaman!

“To paraphrase Paul Heyman, ‘do you really find good guys that interesting? I know I don’t’ but Gatchaman: Galactor was the absolute top of my list when Mad Cave reached out to me about the franchise,” said series writer Steve Orlando. “Berg Katse, Leader X, and the forces of Galactor have been so incredibly influential in the decades since their debut. Without their narrative DNA, I’d argue the iconic cartoons of the 1980s would’ve been bereft of the dastardly, scheming, impossible to ignore villains that we all came to know and love to hate. And with this book, we’re exploring facets of Galactor that have never been seen before! Working with Kath Lobo again is a dream, she is one of the most perfect Gatchaman artists I could ever imagine! And within the pages coming your way, Berg Katse is going to be in for the fight of his life–he’ll have to not just defend his own secrets, but Galactor itself! And to do so, he’ll have to take on a secret underworld family whose existence stretches all the way back to Galactor’s original sin. From the bones of an Earth Mafia family didn’t just come Galactor, but a vendetta…one that threatens to burn the entire organization to the ground.”

“I’m very excited to be part of this project!” said artist Kath Lobo. “I know Gatchaman is a cult-classic anime, and many people will be waiting for this series. I sincerely think this will exceed their expectations. I really love Steve’s approach to the characters, Berg Katse in particular, it’s so cool and interesting.”

Gatchaman Galactor #1 promises to be a riveting spectacle, offering readers a front-row seat to the unfolding drama. With Katse at the helm, the stakes have never been higher, and the line between friend and foe blurs in the shadow of his tyranny.

Will you heed Katse’s call to allegiance, or will you stand against the tide of tyranny? The choice is yours, worms.
