20 years since Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone – Rube Goldberg Style Machine

Can you believe it’s been twenty years since Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone dazzled movie goers worldwide? Beloved by all ages, the coming-of-age story of magic and mischief evolved into a global cultural phenomenon. Debuting today, July 16th, is a never-before-seen Harry Potter as a chain reaction machine, celebrating twenty years of movie magic since the film’s first release.

A dedicated team of designers and engineers produced this chain reaction machine as an inventive apparatus taking viewers on a playful journey of memorable moments inspired by the first Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Built with over 75 official Wizarding World inspired toys and products, the machine sets off a trigger with multiple rows of pulleys and a series of reactions moving slowly in one full majestic rotation. From simple reactions like a string pull to higher-tech reactions involving a phone camera app to make the Cloak of Invisibility disappear, the production features over 100 different reactions throughout the journey. Each trigger + reaction mechanism moves in succession aligned with memorable scenes from the film. Fans will be able to spot products from Warner Bros. Consumer Products’ partners such as, LEGO, FUNKO, Noble Collection, Lionel, Pottery Barn, NECA, Ukonic and many others!

Commissioned by Warner Bros. Consumer Products and distributed exclusively online by YouTube juggernaut, WatchMojo, the video is available on global WatchMojo YouTube channels.
