A Serial Killer Is Stalking Witches Who Secretly Among Us In Series CHARM CITY Coming This July From SCOUT COMICS!
A serial killer stalks the streets of modern-day Baltimore– but what the police don’t know is all of the victims are witches, part of an underground secret society living among us for centuries. And when yet another body turns up, it falls on the victim’s sister– a witch who was excommunicated from the community years ago and hasn’t used magic since– to use her contacts as a reporter for the Baltimore Sun to unravel the mystery and catch the killer.
The Baltimore police are baffled when a Ravens cheerleader is found floating in the Inner Harbor with an arcane symbol carved onto her corpse. And only Alyssia Singer, music blogger at the Baltimore Sun, knows what it means: that a serial killer is targeting Baltimore’s underground witching community. Alyssia–an excommunicated witch who no longer uses magic–must decide: take the case and confront her estranged family and long buried demons… or risk more bodies piling up…
