Diamond Announces PREVIEWS Exclusive X-Men #1 Funko Pop!
Diamond Comic Distributors and Funko have partnered on a new series of PREVIEWS Exclusive Pop! figures and comic covers, recreating the landmark battle that ushered in a new era for the mutants in 1991’s X-Men #1 by Chris Claremont and Jim Lee. The first Pop! figure in the series is a faithful recreation of Wolverine.
Featuring an all-star line-up, Marvel’s milestone X-Men #1 sold a record-breaking 8 million copies. Now, the milestone event comes to life as Funko celebrates 60 years of Marvel’s X-Men with this limited-edition PREVIEWS Exclusive Pop! comic cover featuring artwork from Jim Lee’s iconic gatefold cover of X-Men #1. This exclusive display piece also includes a 3 3/4″ tall Pop! figure of Wolverine with a classic comic deco design. The hard display case measures approximately 11″ tall, 7″ wide, and 3.5″ deep. The display case does not open and figure is not removable.
This PREVIEWS Exclusive display is the first of four pieces comprising the legendary gatefold illustration by Jim Lee. Diamond and Funko will be collaborating on three more Pop! comic covers to complete and commemorate this incredible chapter of Marvel history.
The PREVIEWS Exclusive Pop! Comic Cover X-Men Wolverine vinyl figure (JUN229108; $29.99) is available for pre-order now at comic shops and through PREVIEWSworld PullBox, with an expected release date of May 31, 2023. To find a comic shop near you, visit www.comicshoplocator.com.
