Diamond Select Toys Mortal Kombat Legends in 3D Sub Zero Half-Scale Bust Review
Sub Zero joins the Legends in 3D line to put the others in the cool zone, so let’s see how this Diamond Select release handles in the Review Kombat. And yes that’s with a K! Let’s start with the base. The ice structure has a great look to it. A very nice paint and sculpt that catches your eye. I love how they included this effect into the bust. The ninja hood has a lot going on.
The sculpted creases and folds are a very nice touch. The texture looks wonderful, and the paint is super crisp. It really brings the costume to life. The mask and face are really wonderful too. The detail on the eyes came out fantastic. Same with the eyebrows. And the mask covering the face to me captures the look of the character really great. I love the sculpting and paint on it. As for the gi, it looks sharp in its approach, and captures the fabric look, in both paint and design. This resin piece is a great pick up for any Kombatant.
I think the Diamond Team hit a knock-out. I have never had a resin bust before, and I have to say, the 1/2 scale is an affordable, yet high quality for any collector line. Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy the photos and video review.
