Diamond Select Toys The Black Hole: Maximilian & V.I.N.C.E.N.T. Vinimate 2 Pack Review

Today we journey deep into a world inside the Toyverse, I have never touched. And thanks to the fine folks over at Diamond Select Toys, I get the chance to talk about the Diamond Select Toys The Black Hole: Maximilian & V.I.N.C.E.N.T. Vinimate 2 Pack set.

So I know as kid we had a copy of this movie. And I also know that I remember watching it a few times. So basically that is my history with this film. Based on images and clips I have seen, this two pack is pretty faithful to the source material. Plus being a Vinimate, it’s something I can sink my teeth in.

Maximilian in Vinimate form looks great. The candy apple red works great, and the silver on the claws/hands came out good too. The visor area has a different shade of red to it as well. I do wish it didn’t get lost with the red body, but it still looks good. He also has a flight stand to keep him floating, and I think that is really cool too. As for V.I.N.C.E.N.T., he is beautiful. The reds, blacks, and silvers are clean and crisp. The sculpt is fantastic, and floating base makes him that much more fun. And as an added bonus, they both feature rotation in the head. Overall, I find this set a fun addition to the Vinimate family. The unique sculpt and fun factor of this set is worth the price. I know fans of this cult classic have been salivating to have some merchandise from the Black Hole, and now Diamond Select gives you that option. Pick them up before they are gone.
