Figure Review: Bloodshot from McFarlane Toys
G“Day Crusaders,
This is Dodgy in the Mix bringing you a review of the new Bloodshot action figure by McFarlane Toys.
The very first Valiant Comics Action Figure is here…. we only waited 25+ years.
As most of you are aware the Bloodshot feature film will hit cinemas March 13th (March 12th in Australia) with Vin Diesel portraying Ray Garrison.
The likeness to Vin Diesel in this figure is pretty damn accurate, and if you think this is a Color Top with 5 points of articulation.. well you’re in for a surprise as the articulation is decent from the toes, knees and elbows. The deal breaker are the ball joints on the feet and hands.
One of the key high-lights are the accessories, 2x pistols, a large machine gun and a big knife (apologies I’m not a weapons enthusiast).
It’s all very well to include all these great accessories, its about proportion and how well they fit into the figure’s hands. With this you will not be disappointed as both hands include a trigger figure. When holding a knife, the trigger finger isn’t noticeable due to the soft plastic.
Based on the image above, the figure comes with two side holsters for the two pistols.
My only gripe is that I wished the figure came with an interchangeable head of the comic version of Bloodshot! That would be fantastic!
I know Spawn figures have taken a massive dive in recent years and McFarlane Toys aren’t where they were since 15-20 years ago. I did put some comments in Twitter for my wish to have action figures of Valiant comic characters by McFarlane and my wish kinda came true and I’m thrilled to have my first Valiant Comics action figure!
I still give this beauty… 5/5 Stars!
