Marvel Legends Gamerverse Psylocke vs. Thanos Review – A Stunning Figure Set with One Big Letdown
Hasbro’s Marvel Legends Gamerverse line continues to deliver unique takes on iconic characters, and the Psylocke vs. Thanos Two-Pack is no exception. Inspired by Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, this pairing gives fans a fresh spin on two classic powerhouses. But does each figure justify the tag-team treatment?

Psylocke: Dynamic Sculpting, Gamerverse Flair
From the moment you unbox Psylocke, she commands attention. Her vibrant purple outfit captures the Gamerverse look with striking fidelity, blending comic book attitude with digital-age styling. The sculpt detail is tight, and articulation is solid for dynamic posing—perfect for collectors and toy photographers alike.

The included energy effects elevate her power visuals, while her katana fits snugly into dynamic poses. Her face sculpt leans into the Gamerverse aesthetic, and the figure stands out whether you’re posing her for a Marvel Legends display or staging a Marvel vs. Capcom standoff.

Thanos: A Bit of a Letdown
Unfortunately, Thanos doesn’t quite match Psylocke’s wow factor. While the repaint approach differentiates this Gamerverse version from the comic-based BAF and Walmart-exclusive versions, the figure itself lacks the imposing presence expected from the Mad Titan. He feels more like filler than feature.

The updated paint is welcome, but the sculpt is recycled, and the articulation limitations make it tough to create those high-impact poses collectors want. If you missed other Thanos releases, this might still be a decent pickup—but for longtime collectors, it may not add much value
Final Verdict
This two-pack is worth picking up for Psylocke alone. She’s a dynamic figure that adds character to any Gamerverse or Marvel Legends display. Thanos, while not terrible, feels more like an afterthought than a must-have. If you’re a fan of the Marvel vs. Capcom aesthetic or need a definitive Gamerverse Psylocke, this one is a win. But if you’re building out a powerful Thanos display, you might want to look elsewhere.
