McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Clayface MegaFig Figure Review
Today in the Toyverse I travel down the long hard road of the DC Multiverse, and look at a newer offering from McFarlane Toys. Up for discussion is the Clayface Megafig. This version of Clayface is based on his Rebirth design, and I love the look. Some tremendous sculpting on the figure makes him eye catching from all angles. He is big, and the mud effect has crazy things sculpted on it. From multiple hands in the mud, to screaming faces, he does look creepy. The hinge jaw showcases a set of teeth that would make any dentist give up their practice, and the eyes are scary. His articulation is very stiff, and I would imagine some will have a problem with it, but minus the arms, I am okay with it. Three different types of plastic make up the figure, and although the softer plastic is cool, I do wish it was all uniformed one design or an other. However, I will say he is a fantastic addition to the DC Multiverse line, and at under 50 bucks, you can’t argue with the price. Pack in is a display base and figure stand. Enjoy the photos below.
