McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Three Jokers Wave(Batman, Red Hood, The Criminal, The Clown) Figure Review
Today in the Toyverse, we do something a little different. We dive back into the DC Multiverse(courtesy of McFarlane Toys) and examine some of the figures that make up the upcoming Batman: Three Jokers wave. Lets take a look at each figure that makes up this wave.
Batman-
This is by far the best DC Multiverse Batman I have ever had the chance to mess around with. The sculpt is on point, the articulation is really great, and he comes with a cool grappling device. I especially enjoy the yellow bat symbol and the boots. Also packed in is a collectible card and DC base.
Joker: The Criminal-
I flat out love the head sculpt on this version of the Joker. He doesn’t have the traditional smile or laugh face, but more of a plotting or pondering look to him. The McFarlane team did a good job. He has a nice suit, but I do wish it was open instead of closed. He comes with a cool cane, a collectible card, and DC base. His articulation works as well as possible for a guy in a suit.
Red Hood-
Red Hood may be the most diversive of the set. As great as he looks, and as well as he articulates, he comes across shorter than previous versions done by McFarlane. I do wish he was just a tad bigger. He comes with a crowbar to beat down the jokers of the multiverse, and a collectible card and DC base. The sculpt I will say is really beautiful.
Joker: The Clown-
Between the two Joker’s sent out, I go back and forth with which one I love. I will say for anyone looking for a classic Joker figure, this may be the best done in 7inch scale. The expression on the face is funny, creepy, and cool. In terms of articulation I had no problem getting him to move around. The suited body has some great color choices and he is going to fit in great in the Multiverse line. He comes packed in with a laughing fish and a crowbar along with a collectible card and DC base.
Overall this is a great set of figure, and I cant wait to add the other joker and Batgirl to my collection when they arrive. Once again a special thank you to McFarlane Toys for sending this over to review. Please see below for more info about McFarlane Toys.
