Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Batman Supreme Knight Figure Review

It is with a sad and heavy heart that today I look at the Mezco Toyz One:12 Collective Supreme Knight Batman figure. I say sad, because Mezco really delivered an amazing trilogy of bat goodness with this special line of Batman figures. What started with the Ascending Knight, then progressed to the Sovereign Knight, and finally concluded with the new Supreme Knight, was a pure joy to see as a Batman fan. So, let“s dive into this new release and see how this Batman holds up.

The Body:

Right out of the gate, the biggest difference between this Batman and the others in this series besides the age, is the fac that this Bruce Wayne is a bulker version of his previous incarnations. Mezco has created a figure that builds on the initial concepts, and fully fleshes those concepts out. I really love the attention to detail that the company took with this. As we round the final base, I love how huge the bat symbol is on the chest. The tech of the costume from the cowl all the way down to the gauntlets is cool. In terms of articulation, the figure moves really well despite its bulk. He has a decent double elbow joint, double jointed legs, a diaphragm joint, a ball socket in the head, and a little bit of ankle rocking. Overall the costume and articulation work wonders on this figure.

Accessories:

When it comes to extra goodies and all those wonderful toys Batman uses, this one packs some very interesting pieces. We get this huge large batarang that can cause some serious damage. You also get a set of a bundled small batarangs that you can place in Batman“s open hands. Also you get ten small batarang“s that will aide you in Batman“s war on crime, or get lost on the floor someday. You also get to use a dual-blade folding karambit. I have no idea what that item is, but it looks hardcore. You also receive a grapple gun with three different bat hooks for rooftop fun. Mezco also packs in a handheld equalizer cannon that sounds dangerous. When it comes to the weapons department, this Batman seems ready for battle.

Also packed in this set are three interchangeable heads that came out great. You get old man Bruce Wayne, a stoic head, and a gritty teeth head. All look good and showcase the mask very well. If that wasn“t enough you get nine interchangeable hands that help you display Batman“s mood in a wide variety of ways. With this set you also get a Batman base, display stand that is articulated, and a storage bag for the accessories.

The final accessory included are two different capes for your Batman figure to walk around with around his cowl. The first is a stand cape that hands down. It looks good and may be an option many collectors use to show off their figure on the shelf. The second part of this puzzle is the wired cape. Yes folks, rejoice as wired Batman capes have now become a part of the Mezco Batman series. To put on the wired cape on, you remove the cowl. It is connected with a magnet and is easy to take off. You grab the wired cape connected it at magnetic base, pop the cowl on, and then magic happens. Mezco produced a very good quality cape. I love how easy it is to put on, and the four wires inside the cape provide a great amount of posing with Batman.

Overall, its very bittersweet to see the final product. I am very happy with this guy from start to finish. You can use this guy in a wide variety of ways. He just isn“t old man Bruce. Mezco took a concept and created something really special for Batman fans that“s not easy to pull off. If you get a chance, make sure you pick him up so you don“t miss out. I hope you enjoy the photos, and thank you so much for stopping by today.
