MEZCO TOYZ One:12 Collective Rumble Society Vapor Figure Review

Today in the Toyverse, I finally look at a Mezco One:12 figure, and this one is straight out of the Rumble Society playbook. The newly releases Hoodz Vapor figure is a very unique piece, and one that is a bit overwhelming. I say overwhelming because he is packed in with so much. So let’s break it down and look at this figure a bit more.

Appearance:

In terms of appearance, this Vapor figure has a lot going on for it. I really enjoy all of the different clothing options.  With each clothing option you choose, it transforms the appearance of the figure. The look of this figure is based on your personal taste on how you want to display it. Each of the clothing options create a vivid design that contrast with the color of the figure in spectacular fashion. Each of the four head sculpts create a unique expression that work great both on a shelf, or in toy photography. The added addition of the flocked hair is a simple yet effective look for the figure. The baggy pants look great, and the design of the boxers showing is really neat as well. All things being said, he is very eye catching.

Articulation:

As far as the articulation is concerned, Vapor moves really great.  The head and neck can move in a wide variety of movements to create some nice attitude moments.  Is the body can bend forward to backwards, go side to side, and tilt all around.  The arms also have a ton of great movement which is really cool.  The double bends at the elbows and the ball peg system at the wrist, allow you to get Vapor into great street artist posing positions.  The legs move equally as good both forwards and backwards, have double bends at the knees, and the feet can kick up-and-down and move side to side. In terms of posing, you are going to enjoy playing around with this guy.

Articulation:

In terms of accessories, Vapor is packed to the gills with items.  This figure has decals for tagging up building.  He comes with multiple pairs of hands and multiple pairs of shoes, which is a very nice touch.  As far as graffiti artist items, he has a multiple cans of spray paint. These spray paint cans and other artist items are really cool. Is. So much detail on such a little piece of item it’s truly mind boggling sometimes the effort that Mezco goes to with the details. Also included are several different clothing options from hoodies to jackets, to ski mask type devices to keep your face hidden when you’re doing street art. It’s just a huge amount of items that make the figure so much to play around with. I just hope I don’t loose any of these.

Final Thoughts:

overall, I can’t say enough good things about this figure. Vapor has style, is fun to play with, and a very different item on the toy shelf. Mezco once again delivers an amazing figure with a great design. He has ton of options to mess around with that make him a worthy addition to the One:12 line. If you missed out on the pre order, you will have to look at the secondary market. But if you have the spare change, and  really want it, you won’t be disappointed.
