Mezco Toyz Slugfest’s Emporium of Badassery Doc Nocturnal’s Phantom Knights Official Membership Kit Review
Today in the Toyverse, that wacky Mezco storefront known as the Slugfest’s Emporium of Badassery, has got an other item for us to speak about. This time the crazy superhero known as Doc Nocturnal sent out the official Phantom Knight’s Membership Kit, and today I am going to break it down for you. Now I originally missed the original order for this kit, but a second round went up on the Mezco site, and after weather delays, I can now talk about it. So let’s dive in and see why this is a great Additional Figure Content(AFC) for your Doc Nocturnal.
The Addition Figure Content:
So the accessory part of this membership kit comes with some really cool Doc Nocturnal items to spruce up the supernatural crime fighter. The alternate head packed in is really neat. It instantly when put on gives the character a whole new vibe. He goes into Van Helsing Wanpenkamer mode. The crucifix on the head keeps the vampires away and is a neat fashion statement. Also packed in are six wooden crosses that are also stakes to send the creatures of the night back to Hell. And if your demon hunting night is going to be busy, well those six cross stakes are going to need a place to be stored. So also included is one crossbody harness that stores the stakes with ease.
Also included is the wrist-mounted Heilige Kruisboog(crossbow) that is a deadly weapon for any demon that crosses Doc Nocturnal. You also get a kukri machete sheath that can attach to the belt of the figure and two blades for slicing and dicing those evil monsters. Overall I dig all of the items in this set. They are fun and add a new level of enjoyment to the Doc figure.
The Bonus Swag:
So if all those figures accessories were not enough Doc Nocturnal fun for you, Slugfest has some cool bonus items to get your supernatural crime fighting passion on. You get a special agent official spectral agent card that has a cool design on it for starters. You also get the Doc Noc ring that looks amazing. It has a beautiful silver finish to it, and a nice weight to it. You also get the Doc Nocturnal’s Entrancistor Disk to help you command those who stand in evil’s way. Packed in also are the Necro-Optics which provide a way to see into other realms. And to top off this membership, you get the Spectral Agent Certification of the Phantom Knights. This document certifies you into Knighthood and are the credentials you need to slay the undead. Overall these gimmicks are great and really let you enjoy the IP that is know as Doc Nocturnal. Overall I am happy with this set, and if you didn’t order one, join the waitlist and see if the Knighthood will convert your order.
