Welcome to the start of the new home of Crisis in the Toyverse.
From now I will be showcasing my love of toys on this site. Up for review today is something really cool for both collectors and kids alike. That’s right, the Playmobil family is getting some mysteries solved courtesy of Scooby-Doo and the gang. A special thank you to Playmobil for not only sending out the Mystery Machine Play set and the Scooby-Doo Mystery Figure, but Scooby & Shaggy with Ghost Figure. Yup that’s right three times the Scooby goodness all packed into one massive review. My thoughts on the Mystery Machine is basically go buy it! It’s a cool fun piece that is going to be very collector friendly, as well as being a fun way to engage a kid into the world of Scooby-Doo. Plus in addition to the vehicle itself, it comes with Fred, Daffney, and Velma. Who doesn’t love that?
As far as the Scooby-Doo Mystery Figure blind bag, mine featured the Indian Witch Doctor and the figure is pretty cool. He looks scary, but only until you unmask him and realize he almost got away with the dognapping. I look forward to picking up more of these guys and gals to see if I can complete the set. As for the other two members of the gang, Scooby and Shaggy are a much needed addition to the overall set. And you get a glow in the dark ghost to boot. I love the detail on Scooby, and I can see him having a whole bunch of wacky adventures in the world of Playmobil. Over the sets are amazing,a nd you should really consider getting them. Playmobil continues to create fun items that are great for both collectors and kids alike, and that’s something that is not always easy to pull off.
