Spawn #200 Rob Liefeld Variant Review (Image Comics Milestone)
Released on December 31, 2010, Spawn #200 marked a major milestone for Todd McFarlane and the long-running Spawn series published by Image Comics. While some collectors associate the issue with 2011, the official release closed out 2010 with a celebration of the title’s longevity.
This copy features the Rob Liefeld variant cover. I chose it as part of an Image Founders section in my collection, and the book already carried Rob Liefeld’s signature. Later, I submitted it during the Todd McFarlane CGC signing in 2025.
The book received a CGC 9.8 under CGC × JSA, with McFarlane witnessed and the Liefeld signature authenticated.
For collectors, Spawn #200 represents the convergence of Image founders celebrating the legacy of Spawn.
