Transformers Trading Cards Celebrate 40 Fantastic Years!
Fans of the TRANSFORMERS franchise can now collect visions of their favorite characters and classic art in this comprehensive collection gathered from an international array of top artists and Hasbro’s design archives.
Collectors are invited to explore the action-filled world of the TRANSFORMERS robots as we celebrate the franchise’s 40th anniversary. With a storied history across toys, animation, film, comic books and beyond, industry leaders among Hasbro, Marvel Comics, Skybound, Toei, Akom, Sunbow Productions, and now Dynamite Entertainment have all contributed to the ongoing legacy of adventure and wonder.
With a particular focus on the original “Generation 1” era of the franchise, beloved characters from the Autobots and Decepticons factions like Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Starscream, Ironhide, Soundwave, and many more.
A trading card set produced for the hobby market will be available as individual foil packs with 10 cards in each, or as box sets with 24 packs included. The complete set features 110 base cards, 55 rainbow holofoil cards, 10 animation art cel cards, 5 ultra-rare enhanced cards, and the boxes are complemented with special metal box topper cards. Select retailers will also carry a package with three packs and a bonus foil card, or a package presenting the complete base set. Retailers including Walmart and Sam’s Club have exclusive packaging and presentation of the set.
