🌪️ YELLOWSTONE MEETS CORMAC MCCARTHY’S BLOOD MERIDIAN IN UPCOMING CRIME NOIR GRAPHIC NOVEL DUST TO DUST

Fan-favorite co-writers JG Jones (Wanted) and Phil Bram team up—with Jones on art as well—to bring a unique, historical thriller to life in the forthcoming Dust to Dust. In this standalone graphic novel a serial killer stalks the dust-choked world of Oklahoma at the height of the Great Depression. It hits shelves this Spring from Image Comics.

As apocalyptic storms swallow the Oklahoma panhandle, the broken town of New Hope is gripped by a series of brutal murders. Sheriff Meadows, tormented by his past, joins forces with Sarah, a relentless photojournalist, to hunt a killer who moves like a ghost through the grime, leaving only bodies in his wake.

“If all you know about J.G. Jones is his cover work for Y: The Last Man or his star turn on Wanted, prepare to be amazed, impressed, bowled over—you name it,” said Eric Stephenson, Publisher and Chief Creative Officer at Image Comics. “This is top flight storytelling from a comics master, and you need to have this on your bookshelf, your nightstand, your coffee table—wherever the great comics go in your household. High five, J.G.!”

Yellowstone meets Cormac McCarthy’s Blood Meridian in this unique Hitchcockian-esque noir story featuring jaw-dropping interior art by Jones to pair with his co-writing chops. Graphic Policy calls it, “a hell of a debut and a prime example of why I wait until all of the comics are released in the year to decide what stands out. It’s a fantastic start and one of the best debuts of the year delivering a start that’s hauntingly sad and beautiful.”

Dust to Dust trade paperback (ISBN: 9781534333062, Lunar Code 0326IM0427) will be available at local comic book shops on Wednesday, May 27 and independent bookstores, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-a-Million, Indigo, and Waterstones on Tuesday, June 23.

Dust to Dust is also available across many digital platforms, including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play.
