ABSOLUTE BATMAN ARTIST NICK DRAGOTTA TEAMS WITH WRITER DAVID BROTHERS FOR THREE ACTION-PACKED TALES IN THE UPCOMING GOOD DEVILS: DON’T PLAY FAIR WITH EVIL ONE-SHOT
High-flying Absolute Batman and East of West artist Nick Dragotta will team with realist writer David Brothers (Time Waits) for three action-packed tales in the forthcoming, Good Devils: Don’t Play Fair with Evil. This 64 page, perfect-bound, one-shot will hit shelves in October from Image Comics.
Who will rule the roost in the post-apocalypse? Will the greatest boxer alive actually live up to his self-proclaimed legend? And just who will survive in America? Readers will find out when they pick up Good Devils: Don’t Play Fair with Evil.
“If you like fight comics, blood and honor, you’ll like this collection of short stories,” said Dragotta. “I’m so happy Image is collecting them all together for the first time in floppy form. We crafted these comics from 2021 to 2023 for the Cry Punch anthology, ShortBox Comics Fair, and Image’s own Newburn. I hope you like them as much as we did making them.”
Brothers added: “Nick and I have spent years studying works like Fist of the North Star and artists like Gil Scott-Heron and George Morikawa, and Good Devils is the result. These three tales capture our love, packed full of all the action and tension our readers can handle!”
Good Devils: Don’t Play Fair with Evil one-shot (Lunar Code 0825IM0298) will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, October 1.
Good Devils: Don’t Play Fair with Evil will also be available across many digital platforms, including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play.
