AWA Studios is heading to New York Comic Con with two panels highlighting upcoming titles, EXPECTING THE UNEXPECTED and ULTIMATE OZ UNIVERSE: THE LOST LANDS. On Friday, fans can join UFC champion and WWE superstar Ronda Rousey as she dives into the creation of her debut graphic novel, and on Saturday, the creative team behind ULTIMATE OZ UNIVERSE: THE LOST LANDS will give an inside look into the world of OZ.

Join UFC champion and WWE superstar Ronda Rousey as she dives into the creation of her debut graphic novel, EXPECTING THE UNEXPECTED, an unflinching thriller about survival and fierce motherhood. In a candid conversation with a special moderator (TBA), Ronda will reveal how her own pregnancy, fears, and personal growth helped shape this raw, high-stakes story. Fans will get an exclusive look behind the scenes, from her first script pages to how Ronda collaborated with legendary comic book artist Mike Deodato to turn her words and fight scenes into these unforgettable pages with AWA.

Join the creative team behind ULTIMATE OZ UNIVERSE: THE LOST LANDS, OZ pop-culture influencers, and OZ historians, as they bring fans inside the world-building behind this iconic universe. Fans will get an inside look at how they rebuilt and reconnected the countries and lands of OZ for a new generation. This literary and pop culture deep-dive explores the mythic space and taps into the fresh corners of mythology, repositioning the graphic novel as the future of OZ. Attendee giveaways included.

Officially releasing on October 7, fans can pick up copies of Ronda Rousey’s EXPECTING THE UNEXPECTED directly at the AWA booth during each of the author’s signings, with an exclusive pin included with each purchase. Beyond the Javits Center, Ronda Rousey will also participate in a signing at Midtown Comics in Times Square (200 W 40th St.) on Thursday, October 9, from 7:00-9:00 pm.
