BATTLE QUEST COMICS LAUNCHES THIRD CHAPTER IN TRIDENT OF AURELIA!

Battle Quest Comics continues to see series over series growth, despite a crowded and uncertain market for indie comics. First launched in July of 2022 with the first of their core trilogies, NO’MADD, the publisher has seen steady sales over these past three years on the back of forward-thinking retailer and customer initiatives. Now, the publisher’s celebrated mermaid epic returns in its third chapter next month with THE TRIDENT OF AURELIA: CORAZON!

TRIDENT, the thrilling series Peter Beagle (The Last Unicorn) calls “fascinating and ominous,” continues the mermaid epic that begins when a drowning woman discovers a long-abandoned trident that changes the course of her life forever.

So continues a story of ancient sorceries, a cadre of mermaid allies, alien monsters and a massive Leviathan that continues on today in comic shops, and with special giveaways and more for attendees of The California Mermaid Convention taking place this weekend in Sacramento!

In CORAZON, we follow Xiana – a mermaid princess trapped in the harem of a monster. Her daughters have freed her, but too late! Her kingdom lies in ruins, her people have been turned to stone, and the Trident of Aurelia is shattered. How can she – and the five other surviving mermaids – put things right?
