Blizzard’s Diablo Video Game Series, Returns In Brand-New Comics In 2025
Titan Comics and Blizzard Entertainment are thrilled to announce an all-new comic book series set in the universe of the award-winning horror role-playing game series Diablo. The new comic series, entitled DIABLO: DAWN OF HATRED, will launch with a special FREE issue primer for this May’s Free Comic Book Day annual event.
Written by acclaimed horror writer Cullen Bunn (Harrow County) and illustrated by award-winning artist Daniele Serra with colorist Jovanna Plata, DIABLO: DAWN OF HATRED explores the depths and misery of Sanctuary as it struggles to rebuild after the cataclysmic events of DIABLO IV and its first expansion VESSEL OF HATRED.
Set in the dark and demon-infested world of Sanctuary, the Diablo game series invites players to face down the infernal hordes of the Burning Hells — and rewards them for their efforts with piles and piles of epic loot.
Over 100 million players worldwide have joined the fight against Hell across the Diablo video game franchise, and Diablo IV, the current instalment, set a record for being the fastest-selling video game in Blizzard Entertainment history when it launched. Diablo IV is available on Battle.net, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and Steam.
Fans will be able to pick up DIABLO: DAWN OF HATRED FREE COMIC BOOK DAY EDITION from their local comic shop on Free Comic Book Day on May 3, 2025. To keep up with news on the series follow Titan Comics on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.
