DANIEL WARREN JOHNSON'S WOLVERINE #400 COVER TEASES A HARROWING STORY OF REVENGE!

On April 16, Eisner Award-winning creator Daniel Warren Johnson (Beta Ray Bill, Transformers) joins current Wolverine creative team Saladin Ahmed and Martín Cóccolo to celebrate the milestone 400^th issue of Wolverine’s solo series in WOLVERINE #8. Today, fans can check out a sneak peek at Johnson’s work in the oversized issue along with his striking black and white variant cover.

In WOLVERINE #8 (LEGACY #400), Ahmed and Cóccolo bring Wolverine face-to-face with his mythic new archenemy Adamantine for the first time and reveal a shocking return from Logan’s past. Then, Johnson gets a chance to depict Logan doing what he does best in a brutal tale of revenge set during the character’s time living in Japan.

“What’s better than Wolverine with claws? Wolverine with a katana,” Johnson teased of his backup story.
