REVIEW: Indigo Children Issue 5

Indigo Children issue five is here and things are getting hot. Issue five is full of intensity and action that makes for a very exciting read. If you are not reading Indigo Children, now is the time with only five issues in so far.

Curt Pires and Rockwell White have me hooked with this story of Donovan Price, a reporter who tracked down Alexi, an indigo child. This one act opens up a flood gate as the race is on for the Indigo Children to come together as the government works to keep this all a secret. Yeah, there is a lot of the story missing in this synopsis which is why you need to get in on this story now.

One of the more exciting comics you will read this year so far, Indigo Children is about survival, friendship, corruption, all wrapped up into an action slash thriller story. Issue four ended in Kabul and issue five is their escape. So far the story has taken us around the world as the Indigo Children have come together. But they are not done.

Curt Pires is fantastic in this story and has been on a hot streak as of late with titles like You’ve Been Cancelled, Wyrd, Youth, and much more. Rockwell White is the co-writer of Indigo Children and is film director of the award-winning film Lime Green.

Art is done by Alex Diotto is on art and has worked with Curt on other titles like Youth and Olympia.
