Jeremy Robinson Announces New Supernatural Horror Series Excommunicated

Oh yeah… this one goes HARD. 🔥😈
Vault is about to open the gates to something bold, blasphemous, and wildly fun.

Vault Comics, teaming up with New York Times bestselling author Jeremy Robinson, has officially announced Excommunicated—a jaw-droppingly excellent supernatural horror series that mixes demons, faith, action, and pitch-black humor into one unholy cocktail. Robinson writes the madness, with art by Tiago Palma, colors by Manuel J. Rodriguez, lettering by Jim Campbell, and design by Tim Daniel. The result? A comic that doesn’t just toe the line—it sets the line on fire.

So what’s the hook?

In Excommunicated, a deeply faithful nun and a thoroughly unpleasant demon both get kicked out—her from the Church, him from Hell—after a disastrously botched exorcism. Cast out from their respective sides and marked for death, these two natural enemies are forced into the last partnership either of them ever wanted. Together, they uncover a sinister conspiracy that threatens not just their lives… but the world itself.

Yeah. That escalated fast.

Robinson explains that this story comes from a lifetime steeped in Biblical study, combined with his recent deep dives into original translations of ancient texts—translations that flip the script on what we think we know about concepts like the satan (lowercase, and yes, that matters) and the mysterious beings known as the Elohim. Instead of Sunday school simplicity or Hollywood clichés, Excommunicated digs into a weirder, darker, far more fascinating supernatural mythology—then lets it rip with action, horror, and laughs.

And the creative team? Absolute killers.

After collaborating with Palma, Rodriguez, and Campbell on previous projects, Robinson knew they were the dream squad to bring this story to life—and they delivered. From eerie Boston locations to grotesque demonic horrors (and yes… maybe a little gore), the book nails its tone. Robinson even admits it’s strange—but awesome—to be a genuine fan of something he helped create, especially when it comes to standout characters like Sister Josephine and Edimmu.

If the name Jeremy Robinson sounds familiar, it should. He’s a #1 Audible and New York Times bestselling author with nearly 100 novels under his belt, translated into fourteen languages, including hits like INFINITE, THE OTHERS, and the GOOD BOYS trilogy. His signature blend of sci-fi, horror, and action has hooked millions worldwide, and his cult favorite PROJECT NEMESIS is currently being adapted for television with Chad Stahelski (John Wick 1–4) attached, produced by Original Film and Sony Pictures Television.

On the comics side, Robinson is pushing even harder with Breakneck Comics, his imprint dedicated to bold, bizarre, beautifully illustrated graphic novels—three a year, matching the relentless pace of his prose output.

🔥 Excommunicated #1 hits comic shops May 2026, and the debut is coming in HOT with variant covers from an all-star lineup including Joshua Hixson, Tyler Crook, Tiago Palma, Ito, Jeremy Robinson, and more.

Faith questioned. Hell offended.
Two outcasts. One conspiracy.
Excommunicated is coming—and it’s ready to raise some unholy hell. WEPA. 😈📖🔥
