Zoe Moore was a college senior whose dreams of graduating with honors went up in flames, along with her dormitory, when her explosive pyrokinetic abilities manifested. In the wake of this personal tragedy, she traded in her books for a sleek costume and the code-name HOT DOG and now fights the forces of evil as a member of P.R.I.M.A.L. FORCE, the nation“s elite team of superheroes!
But Zoe will soon learn that being a superhero is no easy task! Not only will she have to deal with the never-ending threat of super villains popping up at every turn, she’ll have to prove herself to a team leader who she’s convinced hates her! It’s going to be a long, hard road, and we’ll be there to witness all her failures and triumphs.
The book is something of a tour de force from creator Ron Joseph, who has spent time in various artistic industries including some solid contributions for IDW. Joseph freel admits he is a fan of old school team books. Here, he has looked to create an all ages book, with a “one and done” feel, though they may well be ongoing subplots. Its an admiral idea for sure. Joseph is joined by colorist J.Brwon who worked has been seen in the books for a mix of different pubblishers. Rounding off the creative team, is Garett Berner.

I am a long time comic book fan, being first introduced to Batman in the mid to late 70's. This led to a appreciation of classic artists like Neal Adams and Jim Aparo. Moving through the decades that followed, I have a working knowledge of a huge raft of characters with a fondness for old school characters like JSA and The Shadow
Currently reading a slew of Bat Books, enjoying a mini Marvel revival, and the host of The Definative Crusade and Outside the Panels whilst also appearing on No-Prize Podcast on the Undercover Capes Podcast Network
