MANGA CREATOR NON’S POETIC “ADABANA” ARRIVES SOON IN ENGLISH FROM DARK HORSE MANGA
Dark Horse Manga brings the mangaka NON’s dark and mysterious Adabana to English audiences. NON is known for series including Hare Kon or Harem Marriage, Delivery Cinderella, and more. Adabana will be translated by Caleb Cook (My Hero Academia, #DRCL: Midnight Children) and lettered by Brendon Hull (Harem Marriage). This powerful series originally ran in Shueisha’s seinen magazine Grand Jump in 2020-2021. Now, the three tankobon volumes are set to arrive from Dark Horse, beginning with Adabana Volume 1 in August 2025.
In Adabana:
After the gruesome murder of two small-town residents, a ramen shop owner, and a local student, the community is left shocked. Mizuki Aikawa, the best friend of one of the victims, confesses to the brutal crime. However, nothing is as it seems, and Mizuki’s public defenders believe there has to be more to the story. When the truth unravels, they discover a tale of class, exploitation, and the deeper struggles of meeting family expectations.
Explore the pain and suspense of this small-town crime-drama when Adabana Volume 1 arrives in paperback for $14.99. The 196-page (5.125″ x 7.25″) manga will be available in bookstores and comic shops on August 12, 2025.
