NACELLE ACQUIRES ‘BARNYARD COMMANDOS’, WITH PLANS FOR NEW TOYS, COMICS AND ANIMATED SERIES

Barnyard Commandos have officially joined RoboForce, Biker Mice from Mars, Sectaurs, Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa, The Great Garloo and Power Lords in the expanding NacelleVerse

The Nacelle Company (RoboForce: The Animated Series, The Toys/Movies That Made Us, Biker Mice from Mars) has acquired Barnyard Commandos from CloudCo Entertainment. Nacelle, the Burbank-based diversified media company, plans to create new toys, comics and an animated series for the Barnyard Commandos brand.

Barnyard Commandos was created by famed toy designer, James Groman, while employed at American Greetings Corporation, predecessor to CloudCo Entertainment, which was adapted into an animated series in 1990. The show explained how a failed and abandoned military experiment resulted in the production of unsupervised radioactive materials that were then consumed by farm animals, leading them to evolve into mutated anthropomorphic paramilitary troops known as Barnyard Commandos.

The NacelleVerse is an interconnected universe of animated shows and comics that feature RoboForce, Biker Mice from Mars, Sectaurs, Wild West C.O.W.-Boys of Moo Mesa, The Great Garloo and Power Lords interacting in one shared universe. The first installment in the NacelleVerse is RoboForce: The Animated Series, which is directed by Brian Volk-Weiss, who also serves as Executive Producer alongside Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia. NacelleVerse toys, comics and other merchandise can be purchased at Nacellestore.com. The Biker Mice from Mars animated series is co-produced by Brian Volk-Weiss, Cisco Henson, Matt Kravitsky, and Michael Goodman from Nacelle, Maximum Effort’s Ryan Reynolds, George Dewey, Kevin Hill, and Ashley Fox.

“I hope you like pigs with rocket launchers, because that’s what you’ll get when Barnyard Commandos join the NacelleVerse!” said Brian Volk-Weiss.
