Dual Animal Studios is making its publishing debut with the Kickstarter campaign for Dual Animal Anthology: Vol. 1, a deluxe black-and-white graphic novel project that is currently campaigning from July 25 until August 29, 2025. This ambitious multimedia anthology will feature six creator-owned debut issues, an original companion soundtrack, and a range of limited-edition collectible rewards available exclusively to campaign backers.
The anthology delivers bold new stories across sci-fi, fantasy, and horror genres, each handpicked by its enigmatic four-armed cyborg host character. Volume 1 launches with the following titles:
Chuck & Mike #1 (Bobby Schwartz),
Slayer Squadron #1 (Dylan Andresen, Jordan Rodriguez),
Deep Space Top Off #1 (Mason Mendoza, Alonso Molina),
Honey Darling’s Gardening Guide: Beginner (Haley Gore, Nikolas Gramling),
K.E.N. #1 (Dan Membreno, Mason Mendoza, Rebecca Sotira),
Valkyra: Terminalworld #1 (Bobby Schwartz, Moises May).
Each series is the result of close creative support between the studio and its creative teams, with Dual Animal championing a “creators first” philosophy that celebrates original voices and artistic ownership.
“What these stories have in common with each other is that they’re all made by incredibly passionate creators,” said Creative Director Bobby Schwartz. “We put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this because we’re not just building a book,” adds Co-Publisher Walter Areas. “We’re making a home for creators.”
Backer rewards include digital and limited-edition paperback copies of the anthology, with a choice of seven exclusive variant covers. The campaign also features an original companion soundtrack, available only to Kickstarter supporters, featuring themes and extended suites composed to enhance the reading experience of each story.
