Illidge, a groundbreaking editor and writer with credits spanning Milestone to DC’s Batman line, continues to redefine contemporary noir, while Chriscross, bringing decades of Marvel and DC storytelling to his first fully creator-owned series, infuses the book with kinetic energy and relentless tension. Their collaboration anchors an episode that also delivers Tyrone Finch and Todd Harris’s What’s in a Name?, a tense undercover thriller about a man whose life changes during a bank robbery he never planned, and Greg Burnham and Quinn McGowan’s Little Rock Files, which pushes Detective Ousley closer to the truth about Kevin’s murder in a chapter where no one is safe.
