Volante Design announces the launch of its first-ever comic, Everlight: An Offworld Comic, debuting on Kickstarter. The campaign marks the beginning of the Offworld universe (the VolanteVerse) and a major expansion of Volante’s long-standing focus on storytelling beyond fashion.
Set in a fractured galaxy where survival is necessity rather than heroism, Everlight follows a small crew navigating instability, scarce resources, and shifting alliances. Inspired by hard sci-fi and grounded characters, the story explores moral gray zones and asks a single question: Who do you become when there is no room for hesitation?
Created by David and Willow Volante, founders of Volante Design, Everlight reflects the brand’s belief that identity begins with story. After years of crafting apparel inspired by iconic sci-fi worlds, Volante is now creating its own.
The Kickstarter launches with Issue #1, a 16-page, full-color comic printed on premium matte stock. Reward tiers & Stretch goals include behind-the-scenes artwork, exclusive merchandise, and more with the long-term goal of expanding Offworld into an ongoing, multi-format universe.
