Issue three follows Ken as he manages his arcade under the pressure of selling to McMax Industries. There is a lot of action as more and more thugs show up to put pressure on Ken to sell. Well they are in for a surprise. We have one of the biggest reveals of the series at the end of issue three you do not want want to miss!
Arcade Kings is a well written story with incredible art, all done by Dylan Burnett. The story has an old school feel in the most positive way. It is a story of a broken family, difficult upbringing, the desire to win the admiration of a parent, a toxic childhood, yet the care one person could have for another because of their suffering and knowing how it feels to have to fight for everything you have.
The emotional aspect of this story is apparent yet it does not overtake the story. It is a good balance of emotion, action, and people coming together to support one another. Writer Dylan Burnett has written a masterpiece so far. If you have not started Arcade Kings the timing could not be better. This is a must read.
