REVIEW: Arcade Kings Issue 5 (of 5)

Arcade Kings issue 5 marks the end of this series, for now. If you have not been reading Arcade Kings, just know it is the perfect time to pick up the five issues and start. The story is incredible and the art jumps off the pages!

Creator, Writer and artist of Arcade Kings, Dylan Burnett is a fan favorite artist for titles like Cosmic Ghost Rider, X-Force, Ant-Man for Marvel Comics, Intercepter and Reactor and so much more!

The story follows Joe in Infinity City. He quickly becomes the best player at Round House Arcade. Many challenge him, but he is that good! There is another side of Joe, a secret that is about to get out pertaining to his family.

If you are an 80’s or 90’s kid who grew up playing Street Fighter and watching Bruce Lee movies, this might be the best comic book fit you will ever find.

In a 5 part series, we now reach issue five and let’s just say there are a few surprises! A masterpiece of a comic book both in writing and in art.

We cannot forget Walter Baiamonte and Sara Antonellini on colors. The art is amazing but the colors from these two makes all the difference. Every scene feels like it will reach out and touch you.

If you are looking for a fun series that will tap into amazing memories of 90’s style comic book, you have hot a gold mind.
