REVIEW: Darkwing Duck / Negaduck Issue 1

Darkwing Duck is back with a new series called Negaduck. Issue one is titled Goldfeather and in this first issue we meet Negaduck, the evil opposite of Darkwing Duck. He has plans to overtake the city and the world. There is a twist in this first issue, a magical twist that turns objects into gold. In order to find this magical item Negaduck will need to enlist a unique group to accomplish the search. Everyone sees dollar signs in this issue.

Written by Jeff Parker, best known for his work with Marvel on some of the top titles like Fantastic Four, Avengers, X-Men: First Class and with DC on Wonder Women, to name a few.

The art is done by Ciro Cangialosi who has worked on titles like Duck Tales, Un/Sacred, Angry Birds, Donald Quest for IDW and Dynamite.

The art is fantastic in this issue and the colors are impactful to the story. This was a fun read having action, comedy, and thrills. Fun for all ages this is a great addition to the entire Disney Line by Dynamite Entertainment. This makes for a great addition for those collecting the Disney series.
