REVIEW: Groot #2

Groot issue two starts where issue one left off, a return to Planet X with Captain So-Lar and Private Mar-Vell of the Kree Starforce as they search for answers and life forms that may of survived the direct attack from the Spoilers. This is also the return to Planet X for Groot and his two friends Tweeg and Gleef.

Little do they know there is another person already on the planet who they will soon meet. Is this person an enemy or ally? Check out issue 2 to find out!

This coupled with Chainsours designed to to Raze Planets on behalf of the Spoilers led by AGZ.

This series is written by Dan Abnett, an accomplished writer of several Marvel and DC titles like Guardians of the Galaxy, Nova, Titans, Superman, Justice League, Aquaman and so much more. On top of this he has written Warhammer 40K and is an author of over 50 novels. He is a 7 time award winning New York Times bestselling author.

The art is done by Damian Couceiro who has worked on Iron Fist, Old Man Logan, Spider-Man, Hulk and much more.

Groot is a fun and exciting read! It is fast paced with plenty of action. If you are a Groot fan from Guardians of the Galaxy and you want to know more about Groot, this is a great way to get acclimated with this unique character.
