This four part series is an action series written by the veteran and award winning writer Robert Venditti best known for his X-O Manowar run with Valiant Comics and his Hawkman and Green Lantern runs with DC.
His partner on this title is Brockton McKinney, award winning writer best known for his work with Action Lab Comics title Zoe Dare versus the Disateroid.
Art is done by Dalts Dalton, best known for Black Smoke published by Heavy Metal, Dominos and Don Juan Di Leonia.
If you love action you will love Savage Squad 6. There is non-stop action throughout this four part series. As this team of female fighters take on a job to recover much needed fuel rods, they find out what should be a routine job turns into a deadly one real fast. What they run into is the Scourge.
Immediately in issue one we see real stakes that end in loss. This is refreshing in comics as we all know, no one dies in comics. That is not the case in this title.
I really enjoyed this series. The plot of the story felt unique and the characters were built to be characters that should not be messed with.
I would rate the entire series:
