Review: Summoners War: Awakening #2

Summoners War Awakening is an action fantasy that follows three unique individuals, The Proto Tomas, the Banian, and Rai the Summoner as they continue their adventure, this time on a pirate ship they escaped to as they were running from Mamakhan, a hired bounty hunter.

Written by Justin Jordan who you may be familiar with as the writer for DC Comics on New 52 Deathstroke, Superboy, and Green Lantern, Valiant Comics for Shadowman, and Reaver by Image Comics to name a few. Summoners War Awakening is a Image Comics Skybound fantasy.

The art is done by Luca Claretti. Some of Luca’s work can be found with Zenescope, IDW, and Heavy Metal. Igor Monte is on colors. He has worked with Image Comics, Boom Studios, and IDW to name a few.

The Summoners War Awakening is a fun and exciting read great for all ages. The story line keeps you locked in and the art is a masterpiece. If you are looking for something that is great for the whole family then Summoners Way Awakening is perfect for you.
