His series Department of Truth and his Eisner winning Something is Killing the Children have been some of the most popular comics in the last three years. The Blue Book and World Tr33 seem to be following in those same foot steps. So when a title like Christopher Chaos created by James Tynion IV is released you jump on it.
Christopher Chaos is about a special young man, a person that has a gift for seeing the world differently than others. Although it is a gift, not everyone around him sees the gift the same way. In this first issue we really dive into Christopher’s life, the trials and suffering he has experienced being so different from his peers.
As you read this first issue you can see the brilliance of such a gifted person while seeing the tragety it can bring as well.
The script for this first issue is by Tate Brombal, the writer and creator of House of Slaughter which spun out of James Tyrion’s Something is Killing the Children. Tate is an Eisner Nominated writer himself for his Barbalien: Red Planet series from Dark Horse.
The art was done by Isaac Goodhart who has worked on Wonder Women, Constantine and CatWomen for DC Comics, Postal for Image Comics, and Eve of Extinction for TKO to name a few.
