Behold Crusaders! The final chapter of the Book of Death will soon be at hand! Will you idly stand by watching other collectors make the Book of Death #4 the very first issue they pull off the shelf at your local comic book shop on the day of release? I certainly hope not, for if that happens, the burden of shame will weigh heavily on you for depriving yourself of the opportunity to read the epic conclusion to THE series of 2015. A rather strong statement to make, is it not? Perhaps, but it is a statement that is made without hesitation.

There are so many different components that make this issue, and the series overall for that matter, truly unforgettable. For the Valiant team to be able to produce such an impactful event such as the Book of Death over the course of just four issues, it’s not only remarkable, its pure genius. No crossover books were needed at all for this instant classic to be told. Even though Valiant designed the four Book of Death one-shots and the Book of Death: Legends of the Geomancer mini-series to be released alongside the main Book of Death issues, it did not interfere in any way with the story of the core book. Instead, it was more of a compliment to the main event.

Speaking of main events, you’ll be in for real treat with issue #4. Throughout the entire series, we have been given a front row seat to observe several crucial confrontations across the Valiant timeline along with majestic battle sequences that will be extremely difficult to top. Issue #4 of the Book of Death is guaranteed to make your jaw drop.

Without question, the Book of Death series elevated the status of the Eternal Warrior to that of an undisputed warrior. The sheer will of the Eternal Warrior will forever be regarded as legendary. Let us not forget about Master Darque. This series transformed a dreary sorcerer into an absolutely horrifying antagonist filled with perpetual rage that honestly caught me by surprise. I will never underestimate Master Darque again that’s for sure.

I can’t say enough about the creative team that was assembled for this series. Their collaboration set a new standard when it comes to comic book events. They successfully delivered a spellbinding tale loaded with plenty of excitement and mystery for new and old Valiant fans alike to enjoy for a very, very long time.

Yes Gilad.

“So let it be written. So let it be done.”

Until next time Crusaders!
