NECA Toys Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pre-Mutation Four Pack Figure Review

Today in the Toyverse come travel with me as I look at one of NECA Toys latest offerings, and examine the Con Exclusive Pre-Mutation Four Pack. This four pack includes Hamato Yoshi(Splinter), Bebop and Rocksteady, and Baxter Stockman in human form and is chalk full of fun items in addition to some cool looking figures.

Hamato Yoshi:

Every one of these figures is beautiful, but there is something to be said to having the human form of Splinter. He just looks great in figure form. The sculpt and paint are spot on, and its great to have the turtle bowl and baby turtles for him to interact with. In addition to that he has multiple hands and his walking stick.

Bebop and Rocksteady:

These two knuckleheads are a fantastic edition. I enjoy every figure in the set, but the more I think about it, the more I think these two are my favorite of the set. Seeing the hig and rhino in human form is a real treat. I do wish Rocksteady came with an additional head, but it is not a deal breaker. Bebop I think looks better of the two, but they both are a fine edition to the shelf. These two come with multiple spray cans, crow bar, a makeshift table leg bat, a bat, a real metal chain, and a boombox.

Baxter Stockman:

Out of all the figures in the set Baxter is the most surprising. You would think having the flyman would be cooler than just the scientist, but the truth is I kind of like Baxter in human form more. I think this is the first time we have seen toon Baxter in figure form, and NECA did a great job. The sculpt looks great, and the two tone cell effect is done well. Baxter is packed with the Sarnathometer and some other tracking device, multiple hands, four miniature turtles, and a jar. All great nods to some key Baxter episodes. Also packed in is a mouser droid.

Overall, NECA continues to find a great reason to take my money with this line. Every turtle release has been a fun trip down the member berry journey. They have done a tremendous job and I look forward to the future of this line.
