REVIEW: Age of Reptiles: Ancient Egyptians #4
Age Of Reptiles: Ancient Egyptians #4
Story and Art by Ricardo Delgado
Colours by Ryan Hill
Publisher: Dark Horse Comics
Let’s judge this book by its cover… Tidal wave engulfing a huge Dinosaur. It’s not overly detailed but it’s very nice.
If you’re sitting comfortably we can begin… This is a silent comic that simply but beautifully tells a tale of a small male dinosaur trying to take food back to his mate that is guarding their eggs. He is on the way back with his find and is attacked by a much larger threat. Teaming up with a pack they manage to take down the threat. Heading back to his mate he sadly has nothing for her to eat so he heads out again on the hunt.
It’s a sad story told very well. The art is great. For what it is, I can’t really fault it.
The Good, the Bad and the Star rating…
The Good- The art is lovely and the strong is heart warming.
The Bad – Would have liked to know the names of dinosaurs in the book.
The Stars – For what it is I have to give it 3 stars.

- Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
