Review: Alpha Flight: True North

The bad boys from the north are back and in great shape, in this spectacular one-shot where we will see the original alignment of the Canadian superheroes one more time. We have three stories that will delve into the depths of each character, Snowbird and Talisman star the first story where an unknown and supernatural force scourge a quiet town and both must use the maximum of their powers to discover the cause of this strange event.

The second story happens between Puck (my favorite) and Marrina, a peaceful break on the beach will be the appropriate time for Puck to drive away ghosts from his previous sins, Puck was not a good boy in the past, he did many terrible things and this is why Puck will tell to Marrina a terrible confession.

The last story of this one-shot has as its protagonist the powerful Vindicator, after a tortuous event of the past that almost costs Guardian’s life, Heather has rebuilt her life in the best possible way and now lives in a relative peace, but the peace of his home is suddenly broken by a command that seeks to arrest her for the kidnapping of Claire Mc Neil.

Wow! I must say that I was excited to read this number, see the original alignment of Alpha Flight gathered as the old days almost made a tear roll down my cheek, an excellent team of writers and artists gather to give us three great adventures of the powerful team of the North, I was waiting with all my heart to see some art of John Byrne there, but maybe I’ll have to wait a little more, however I am very happy with what I read.

Los chicos malos del norte estÃ¡n de vuelta y de gran forma, en este espectacular one-shot donde veremos luego de largo tiempo a la alineaciÃ³n original de los superhÃ©roes canadienses. Tres historias que indagaran en lo mÃ¡s profundo de los personajes, Snowbird y Talisman protagonizan la primera historia donde fuerzas desconocidas y sobrenaturales azotan a un tranquilo pueblo y ambas deberÃ¡n usar el mÃ¡ximo de sus poderes para descubrir la causa de este extraÃ±o evento.

La segunda historia ocurre entre Puck (mi favorito) y Marrina, donde un pacÃfico break en la playa serÃ¡ el momento apropiado para que Puck aleje fantasmas de sus pecados anteriores, Puck no fue un buen chico en el pasado, hizo cosas terribles y es por ello que siente la necesidad de hacer a Marrina una terrible confesiÃ³n.

La Ãºltima historia de este one-shot tiene como protagonista a la poderosa Vindicator, luego de un tortuoso evento del pasado que casi cuesta la vida a Guardian, Heather ha reconstruido su vida de la mejor manera posible y vive ahora en una relativa paz, de pronto la tranquilidad de su hogar es rota por un comando que busca apresarla por el secuestro de Claire Mc Neil.

Rayos, debo decir que me emocionÃ³ leer este nÃºmero, ver la alineaciÃ³n original de Alpha Flight reunida como los viejos tiempos hizo que casi rodara una lÃ¡grima por mi mejilla, un excelente equipo de escritores y artistas se reunen para brindarnos tres grandes aventuras del poderoso equipo del norte, esperaba con todo mi corazÃ³n ver algun arte de John Byrne sin embargo estoy muy feliz con lo que leÃ.
