REVIEW: Avengers #6

When an enemy is too powerful for one group to defeat what are the option?

Well Vision has it all worked out and has assembled 3 teams of avengers, present, founding and past. Each team has its merits but will they be able to work together through time and space to stop the ever-powerful KANG.

So let“s see who the player are: Â Wasp(Nadia Pym), Thor (Jane Foster), Captain America (Sam Wilson), Vision, Future Vision, Spider Man (Peter Parker), Â Hercules, Giant Man, Wasp (Janet Van Dyne) Iron Man, Hulk, Thor Odinson, Captain America (Steve Rogers) Captain Marvel, Namor, She-Hulk and Black Knight.

This is an interesting mix of old and new and with the shifts in time they even get to mix it up and become 3 powerful teams on a mission to destroy the evil plans of Kang.

We start with Vision and Future Vision debating if all is lost. Our first Team is in Egypt, the year 2948BC and Spider Man and the Hulk are trying to bring down a pyramid, they send Captain America (Sam Wilson) and Hercules to evacuate the people from the pyramid before it explodes.Â They get everyone to safety and boom up goes the pyramid. With the mission completed and Kang Weapons Cache destroyed it“s down to the other two teams to do their bit to end this.

Flash forward to team two who are on Planet Sacniaa in 7215AD, Giant Man, Wasp(Janet Van Dyne), Captain Marvel and both Thor“s are here. But the battle has become harder to overcome and the avengers are losing and disappearing, as their future is being erased by the Aliens of Sacniaa. But the avengers may be flesh and blood but Thor Odinson knows better and Mjolnir is eternal and with the power of both Thor“s behind it, Mjolnir kicks the aliens butt !! Allowing Giant Man to override the machine that was sucking the life and future out of our avengers. Does it work?? Of course it works and the team becomes solid again and shuts down the key to the financial empire pf Kang. One left to go!!

We head to North America 4022AD, Wasp (Nadia Pym) Has been captured and its down to Iron Man, Captain America (Steve Rogers), Namor and She Hulk to do what“s needed. But as usual the plan doesn“t go smoothly and they end up jumping in all guns blazing as they say, but thing change as they fight”¦have the other teams done enough, is this plan really going to work and how are they going to deal with Kang now that they have put the wheels of change in motion. What surprises are instore for our Avengers, and how will they save the world, past present and future??

This is a great read for any die-hard avengers fan, it“s got a lot of want you want to see and some surprises too. Rating: 4 out of 5
