REVIEW: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice: Upstairs/Downstairs

Let’s judge this book by its cover… A great scene with Batman facing the giant statue of the god like Superman as a lightning storm rages on. The art is very clean and sharp.

It’s the unveiling of the Superman statue to thank him for saving the planet and Batman isn’t too happy about him honoured. As the reporter talks to fans and critics about the Man of Steel she talks about what it means to be a hero. As the monologue continues listing the ideals of a hero, we are both Superman and Batman, both doing what they do best in ways only they can and we see that there are other ways to be a hero.

This book is far superior to the previous five from this same team, the art is just as good but this story and pacing is done to perfection. This one-shot is a great read and an amazing freebie to get you even more excited about the up coming movie. 5 Stars.

Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
