Review: Bloodshot #10

A new Chapter Begins, since the ongoing feud with Agent Nix concluded (in issue #9) in very hostile circumstances. Will Ray Ray get a break?.. If he did, we wouldn’t be buying comics! Duh!

After the death of Agent Nix who has proven to be a solid pain in the Arse! (British spelling intended.. The same way we spell it in Australia) Brings us the first appearance (in comics) of Wilfred Wigans who we all know appeared in the Bloodshot movie in 2020 (the Science guy). He also has the same itch on Bloodshot’s arse as Nix did except in a different way as they’ll be working together!

The introduction to the character of Wigans is solid, Seeley nails it with his charm and humor from the get-go, the bar scene is worth the ticket entry! Wigans will inevitably be a loved character, he is the kind of spark plug that Bloodshot needs, he talks back, he’s sarcastic yet he’s smart and knows what he’s doing. He’s literally the Micro to The Punisher and we knew that worked. The pacing of the story got me a bit.. The back and forth scenes threw me off a couple of times which I had to re-read it to completely understand. Please, please keep Brett Booth on Bloodshot, he is the master storyteller of action scenes. For fans of 90’s Image comics and their outrageousness – you will love this!

Valiant does it again, I’m super exited for what comes next. Thank you for originality and do ya’self a favor and check this out!
