Let’s judge this book by its cover… It’s raining money on Deadpool, the subtlety is staggering. The detail on pool himself is very nice, the creases and the folds on his uniform looks great. The sketched team behind him are done well too. The waste of space at the top and bottom could have been used and seems a shame the artist went for simple blank strips.
So if you’re not sick to death of the Merc with a mouth from his solo title or his new team up book with Spider-Man or from him being on every cover of every marvel book or from the countless online memes and promo posters and clips for his up coming movie or… I’m gonna say it…. Gwenpool and feel like you can handle another Deadpool book, then why not try marvels suicide squad…. I mean Mercs for money…. Nope was right the first time. They even have a “Harley Quinn” look
Anyway it’s a fun throw away book not unlike every Deadpool comic since marvel now. Rather then have him (not) talking to himself he has a new team of equally damaged mercenaries including a Spanish Deadpool that speaks in only Spanish with no translation so if you don’t read Spanish, well tough, marvel don’t give a crap they have your money. I love Deadpool, or at least I did before marvel now. He was funny and dangerous and awesome, now he’s stupid, useless and lame.
Lots of mindless action and amazingly good art just manage to save this book from its lack of humour (they try it just isn’t funny) and the fact that Deadpool is EVERYWHERE.
We also get a second book inside of Spidey #1. The full first issue, can’t knock a freebie, especially one with a great origin page like this
Oh and marvel straight copying DC again
This book will sell no matter what and it should, it’s fun. This is a 3 star book.

Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
