REVIEW: Elasticator #6

What happens when a good person get super powers? They become a superhero, so what happens when a criminal gets super powers? well they become a super villain, don’t they?
Mikey is just a young lad that wanted to provide for his family after his father lost his job. Granted he went about it poorly and started braking the law but that doesn’t mean he deserves what happened to him.

After watching a rival gang lead by the ruthless and super powered Luthor kill his best friend Mikey himself was drowned in a vat of chemicals and left for dead. After being nursed back to health and waking to find that he himself now possesses the to stop Luthor. Mikey decides that it’s time to put use his new powers to right the wrongs done to him and if his vengeance helps save the city then that’s just a happy bonus.

Being lucky enough to get to read this series for review I also had the chance to interview the creator for an inside into the character and how he came to be. This series has been a breath of fresh air for superhero books, without rehashing my previous reviews too much the art is on point and the story original and compelling. This is a must read for 2016!

Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
