Review: FREEDOM FIGHTERS #8 (OF 12)

A terrible shadow looms over Earth-X, the Nazi war machinery has triumphed and there seems to be no hope, however in Detroit the birth of a baby will allow the dream of freedom to be reborn.

Marcus Robbins was born in difficult circumstances, his parents tried to keep him safe from the Reich, however the baby is cruelly taken from his mother’s arms and introduced to the Reich forced labor camps, but Marcus would not give up, he and his father would secretly build a special suit that would give Marcus extraordinary abilities, however they are discovered by the Nazis and his father with the memory of how Marcus was taken from him at birth would not allow his son to be kidnapped by the Nazis again and he will sacrifice his freedom.

Seven years later, Marcus now become a freedom fighter known as Black Condor, must infiltrate the Detroit forced labor camp in order to stop the Plastic Man super-soldiers program, for which he will assume the role of the Yellow Eighteen worker , however, to be back in the labor camps will bring Marcus terrible and painful memories, this and the news of the disappearance of his parents will arise the wrath of Black Condor.

In Freedom Fighters we have the opportunity to explore one of the existing earths in the wide multiverse of DC, this time the Earth-X, where a group of metahumans led by Uncle Sam will fight to regain freedom from the claws of the Third Reich, a good issue where we will have the opportunity to know the origins of Black Condor and that will serve as a preamble to the Battle of Detroit!

Una terrible sombra se cierne sobre la Tierra-X, la maquinaria de guerra Nazi ha triunfado y pareciera no existir esperanza alguna, sin embargo en Detroit el nacimiento de un bebÃ© permitirÃ¡ renacer el sueÃ±o de libertad.

Marcus Robbins naciÃ³ en difÃciles circunstancias, sus padres intentaron mantenerlo a salvo de las garras del Reich, sin embargo el bebe es arrebatado de forma cruel de los brazos de su madre e introducido a los campos de trabajos forzados del Reich, pero Marcus no se rendirÃa Ã©l y su padre de forma secreta construirÃan un traje especial que darÃa a Marcus capacidades extraordinarias, sin embargo son descubiertos por los Nazis, pero su padre con el recuerdo de como le fue arrebatado Marcus al nacer, no permitirÃa que su hijo fuera secuestrado por los Nazis de nuevo y asÃ sacrificarÃa su libertad por la de su hijo.

Siete aÃ±os mÃ¡s tarde, Marcus ahora convertido en un luchador por la libertad conocido como Black Condor, deberÃ¡ infiltrarse en el campo de trabajos forzados de Detroit con el fin de detener el terrible programa de supersoldados Plastic Man, para ello asumirÃ¡ el rol del trabajador Yellow Eighteen, sin embargo, volver a estar en los campos de trabajo traerÃ¡n a Marcus terribles y dolorosos recuerdos, esto y la noticia de la desapariciÃ³n de sus padres despertarÃ¡n la ira de Black Condor.

En Freedom Fighters tenemos la oportunidad de explorar una de las tierras existentes en el amplio multiverso de DC, en esta ocasiÃ³n la Tierra-X donde un grupo de metahumanos liderados por Uncle Sam batallarÃ¡n por recuperar la libertad de las garras del Tercer Reich, buen nÃºmero donde tendremos oportunidad de conocer los orÃgenes de Black Condor y que servirÃ¡ de preÃ¡mbulo a la Batalla de Detroit!
