REVIEW: Hal Jordan And The Green Lantern Corps #17
I loved this!
It made me want to read Green Lantern comics again. Loads of stuff happens and its ranges from warm and personal to effing cosmic with a cool ending, rather given away by the cover, I wish the industry would learn not to sign post plot points.
There’s so much going on in this but it’s paced so well and it’s all good stuff that either wraps up plot threads or launches new stories. It feels nostalgic without wallowing in the past and actually made me like characters I never really thought about before.
The art is very solid, both in style and design. The inking is a little heavy but everything remains distinct and the action is good.
It’s a little muddled in places, a big plot point isn’t really explained very well but other than that this might be what I go digital for the first time for. 5/5
