And it’s only fitting that in an issue called “Armageddon” the Six mix it up with a cult, brainwashed as always. Heavy on Christian mythos doctrine, some of the passages in these panels become an effort to slog through – but thankfully this book is not only accompanied with portraits of gore but a snark that can only be found coming out of the mouth of a Draculina. Pantha going ham , Nyx playing pyro and all with dialogue that would bore a child to spiritual death in Sunday school countered with attitude and cynical humor of characters that you can believe have been around for more than a century. Lilith would be proud to see her daughters work together so well under Priest’s pen & Ramos’ pencils – if they united under her devious prerogatives of course …
