REVIEW: Secret Six #3
STORY BY: Gail Simone, ART BY: Dale Eaglesham, Publisher: DC Comics
G“Day Folks!
This is Dodgy86 in the mix, bringing you another comic book review. Today I will tell you about Secret Six # 3 by Gail Simone with art by Dale Eaglesham.
Do you really know who your neighbours are?
Well, what if you lived next door to six dangerous reformed Supervillains? That“s the case in Secret Six # 3! Ventriloquist II, Porcelain, Strix, Black Alice, Big Shot and Catman living the suburban dream of blending in. How long does it take until they find trouble or until trouble finds them?
I found this to be a fun read with the clashing egos and bigger than real-life characters subdued to life in a quiet suburb. Catman is surprisingly an interesting character, Simone does a really great job on the pacing and dialogue of each character so you know their lifestyle and struggles.
Eaglesham“s artwork is gorgeous and beautifully detailed, this is a joy to read.
I strongly recommend this!
